Creating a Baka Image

If you have an idea for a baka image, but aren't sure how to make one, this is where we'll show you how to do it.
  1. Take a screencap of the image you want to use in your baka image. If you already have the image you want to use, you can skip this step. To take a screenshot in Windows Media Player 10, press "Ctrl+I", and it will prompt you to save the image. If you are using Windows Media Player 11, you will have to use a different media player to take a screenshot. In Media Player Classic, go to File > Save Image... and it will ask you where to save the image. In VLC Player, go to Video > Capture to save the current screen. If you are using another media player, try searching Google for a way to capture screenshots with your program.
  2. Go to roflbot, an online macro creator, or automotivator, a motivational poster creator. Click the browse button and select the image from your computer. If you are really bored and don't have your own image, you can try making a baka image with the random image button. We accept image even if they aren't anime themed, as long as they are appropriate, so don't worry if your random image isn't of anime.
  3. After that, automotivator is very straightforward. Enter the text you want in each box. Roflbot is also very easy to use, however there are a few more controls that allow you to customize the image further. In the roflbot editor, simply enter the text you want to appear on the picture, and click "Add Text". You are then free to drag and drop the text to anyplace on the image you want. You can add more lines of text to the image by entering more text and clicking the "Add Text" button again.
  4. When you are satisfied with your image, click the "Save Image..." button, then click "Save on your computer".
  5. Now it's time to upload the image to Baka-Images. Go here to upload the image to the Baka Images gallery.
  6. Click "Add Picture" and you're done! If we take a particular liking to your image, we'll post it to the front page!
