Update!AKA Where have you been?!
Rockangel:
:D
Seriously... BKV hit my DA and I was really shocked to realize how long it's been since I was able to get by here. Hopefully it will change soon. My art is selling very well right now, so I'm looking into having my site professionally done. I don't have the time to learn it all.
I'm also in the middle of having solar panels installed. Should be done Monday. And the last few months I've been building this:

I built it myself so it took a long time since I was kinda learning as I went. Took about 2 and half months during my days off. I did have help getting the door on and the roof lifted up. It's a walk in Aviary.
Total size is 10x10 ft and rises to 10ft high (roughly) in the center might actually be 11 at the peak. Next the gardens go in.
Anyway I hope to be back on my rounds here soon. :) I missed you guys!

Welcome back! Congrats on your art selling well!
Your aviary looks really nice. What kind of birds do you have?
Rockangel:
Thanks Baka! I've even sold a few fan art posters... though I'm not pushing them as I'm not real sure it's legal. ;)
I have parakeets, Cockatiels, a love bird, finches and a congo African Gray. And here is my attack duck:

He actually does keep the stray cats out of the yard. Most think he's a goose because he's so big.. but he's just a duck. He's also a bit OCD. ;D
Here is my love bird. I just call him Peaches. :)

Woooo, wasn't expecting you for another 3 - 4 days. Good job on the bird house. You used the construction as exercise/break from all your artwork¿ I know how busy work can keep people away, it did the same to me for about 2-3 weeks.
Anyways, nice to see your A-Duck and "Shibata" [Peaches] ...........lulz

Wasn't Shibata a cockatiel?
Ducks are awesome. Guard ducks are even more awesome.
Do they get along pretty well when you put them all together in there?
