Cool points are somewhat of the reputation system for this board. They will give you a general idea of how other users perceive the quality of your posts. If you like a post a user has made, click the [+] button above their avatar. You can give as many people Cool Points as you want, but you can only give the same user one Cool Point every six hours. This waiting period may be adjusted as we see fit. The [-] button should be used sparingly, mostly just for users who spam or break the rules. It should not be used just because you don't like the user, or that user has disagreed with something you said. If you receive a negative Cool Point, please resist the temptation to take it out on other users. Although you can't see who gives you Cool Points, the admins can, and we will revoke Cool Point privileges from users who abuse the system. With that, start posting and collecting those Cool Points!
